Holiday Cards!
I, who loves Christmas above all over holidays, will be sending out Christmas (or holiday) cards! Please PM me with your address if you so desire one. Also, what you celebrate during the holiday season so I don't accidently offend and/or make you feel left out. I still need to see if I can send international but I will figure that out asap and edit it in. This will be first year doing something like this though so... I'm pretty excited. /dork
Now, for the second order of business! I'm gonna' be honest, i've already got a semi set-up list here at amazon.com, but. Meh. My parents and siblings like to be able to give me at least one material item. But I don't need material things to make me happy so this LJ list will be different. More focused on the non-material things that make me super happy. So, here it goes!
STEP ONE
☆ Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered ... whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
☆ If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
☆ Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.
STEP TWO
☆ Surf around your friends list (or friends' friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
☆ If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
☆ You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
☆ There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just... wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

So, I can't sleep. Or more like, I actually can't sleep until I finish this homework. I'm determined to get caught up as much as I can tonight so I can study for my exams starting tomorrow.

I'm just hoping that crappy hotel internet will survive long enough for me to make this post. I had an epiphany and I want to share!
Today was a lot of fun. I got to see my cousin after a year or so. He's a derp and I love him. I also got to see my friend Matt whom I haven't since October. I also met Jessica, a very nicelesbian girl who seemed to like me. A lot. Buh-huh-huh-hm, moving on~ I drove everyone around town and we all nerded it up like woah. Nolan and I especially nerded it up when I went to see Iron Man 2 for the second time since none of them had seen it yet. Surprisingly, I think I enjoyed it more the second time because I wasn't dead tired from a six hour drive and constantly dozing off during the quiet scenes. Which there aren't a lot of, I noticed the second time around.

I feel so damn good about myself now that I almost can't believe it. I'm so glad I took this trip.
